Mr. Goldman is a former prosecutor and litigator who served as an Ocean County Assistant Prosecutor for seven years. During his tenure, he earned an impressive track record as a trial lawyer. Though he is a seasoned litigator and generalist, he is experienced in Criminal, Divorce and Personal Injury Law.
As an Assistant County Prosecutor, Mr. Goldman received specialized elite training. He graduated from the prestigious Top Gun Class #42 which is an intensive 6-day program designed to train state, county, municipal and federal agency police officers in conjunction with prosecutors on substantive legal and practical skills using a combination of classroom lectures and practical exercises. Mr. Goldman is also certified from the prominent “Finding Words, NJ” which is a 5 day child forensic interviewing training protocol for professionals involved in investigating and prosecuting child maltreatment.
Prior to prosecuting, Mr. Goldman served as Judicial Law Clerk to the presiding Family Division Judge in Ocean County, where he recommended disposition of matrimonial cases for the Judge’s review and approval, including Divorce, Child Custody, Parenting Time, Child Support, Paternity, Spousal Support, Medical Support and Adoption.
Mr. Goldman has received his Juris Doctor in law and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Mr. Goldman is a certified instructor by the State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Criminal Justice, Police Training Commission where he teaches numerous classes at the Ocean County Police Academy. Mr. Goldman is also involved in the Monmouth and Ocean County Bar Associations. In Ocean County, he was the former Young Lawyer Liaison and previously served on the criminal practice committee and presently serves on the Juvenile Law Committee in Monmouth County.
